|Mr John Barnes
|John was born in Norfolk and on leaving school moved to London where he joined Glaxo Laboratories working in research and development. He later moved to another pharmaceutical company, Boehringer Ingelheim and when the company moved from north London to Bracknell he and his wife Margaret and the first of their 3 children moved to a house in Little Sandhurst and in 1971 moved to Crowthorne. John’s career has taken him to many countries around the world, including living in Germany and Australia. He became a trustee of COATS in 2005 and has been Chairman since 2007. He has broad managerial experience, was a keen sportsman, still travels widely, and enjoys watching his family grow.|
|Mrs Yvonne Hattersley
|Yvonne’s working background is in Information Technology and education. She has lived in Crowthorne since 1970 and has been involved with the local community during that time including Guiding (Brownies), PTA, handbell tune ringing and church. Her first encounter with COATS was volunteering in the old charity shop located where the new library now stands. Her current involvement with COATS began in 2003 when a friend asked Yvonne to go with her to a public meeting about the future of the charity. It was facing severe financial crisis and possible closure due to the changes in legislation governing residential respite care and also the loss of income from its charity shop due to development. Yvonne was convinced that the Day Centre should be retained and became a member of the committee. She is pleased to be part of a successful organisation which is so well supported by its local community.|
|Mr Paddy Skinner
|Paddy was born in Hertfordshire, and after Cambridge joined Sainsbury’s as a graduate trainee. He obtained an MBA from Cranfield in 1970. His speciality is Logistics, and in 1983 he moved to Crowthorne to spend the next 24 years with Hays Logistics, developing new business and new distribution centres. He loves spreadsheets, and after his retirement he became Trustee and Treasurer in 2007. He married Heather in 1965, has 4 daughters, all married, and 11 grandchildren! He enjoys golf, and is an active member of the Cordwainers, a City Livery Company.|
|Nr Nick Abbott||Nick was born in Stone, Staffordshire and has lived in Crowthorne since 1962. He married Sally in 1965 and they have twins of 46 and three grandchildren. He worked in the family dairy business in Crowthorne and was Treasurer of the Crowthorne Traders’ Association for many years. He is involved with the cycling team at Ravenswood Village, and has completed 25 international bike rides. He is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing hockey, cricket and golf. He has, for many years, organised the Christmas lights in the village and has been a Trustee of COATS since 2005.|

|Mr Roger Fox|
|Mr David Wilson||David was born in Manchester but raised in Yorkshire from the age of 1. After graduating from Sheffield University in 1975 he moved to Bracknell to work for Sperry, which became British Aerospace. He then moved into the IT industry working for IBM as a Programme manager undertaking projects at BA, HM Treasury, The Dept of Health and The Royal Household. He has two sons, one who lives in Brisbane, Australia and the other in Woking. He travels to Australia every year or so to see his 3 Australian grandchildren and more often to Woking to see his 2 English grandchildren.
David moved to Crowthorne in 2008 and began volunteering at COATS in 2011 on retiring. He still volunteers in the COATS kitchen each Tuesday and has previously managed the COATS entries in the Crowthorne Carnival and the COATS 50 th anniversary celebration. He is a keen road cyclist, a passionate England Rugby supporter and a tolerable ukulele player. He became a Trustee in 2019 with responsibility for press, publicity, marketing and IT.

|Mr Martin Rickards|
|Mr Grant Robertson||Grant was born in Bristol and at the age of 21, having done an engineering apprenticeship, joined the Merchant Navy serving on one of Shaw Savill’s passenger liners where he met his wife who was travelling to Australia. He came to Crowthorne in 1969 when he married Susan and they have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. Being a salesman with various UK companies, he ended up in export sales dealing with agents in over 45 countries. Having been made redundant at age 57, he started working with Nick Abbott at Ravenswood Village as a care worker. Following retirement he continues to work there part time. He became Trustee of COATS 10 years ago and finds it very rewarding.|
|Mrs Hilary Tinsley||Hilary re-joined COATS as a trustee in 2017 and has lived in Crowthorne for the last thirty one years and within that time has moved house four times within the village. Her career includes seven years with British Airways. She then had a seven year break, having two sons and a daughter and during this time. She was a fundraiser for the NCT and set up a not for profit Playschool. On her return to work, she chose a new direction and spent seventeen years in recruitment. Hilary now works part time for Prospect Estate Agency in Wokingham as their Support Services Manager and she also volunteers in the COATS shop on a Friday morning. Over the years she gained a wide range of skills, from recruitment, man management, HR, health & safety, legislation, sales and marketing and fundraising.|
|Mr Peter Hutterli||Peter was born in the UK of Irish and Swiss parents. After graduating with a degree in Engineering, he has spent a 35 year career in the Automotive and Telecommunications industries living and working in the UK, New Zealand and Germany.
Having retired in 2017, he joined COATS as a trustee in 2019 after being a volunteer bus driver for six months and now runs the minibus and assists the Treasurer. He is married to Jane, has one son, is a keen golfer and is studying for another degree in Maths and Physics.
